June Lin has extensive work experience in the field of software testing and development. June began their career in 2002 as a Web developer at the Ministry of Education of New Zealand, where they gained skills in ColdFusion, SQL, JSP, and Java programming. June also gained experience in web maintenance and troubleshooting. In 2007, they moved to the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, where they worked as a Software Tester and later as a System and Application Developer. In these roles, they worked with ColdFusion, AngularJS, and SQL programming, conducted unit testing, and performed exploratory testing for regression and new requirements. In 2016, they transitioned to the Ministry of Social Development (MSD), where they held the position of Software Test Engineer until 2021. Currently, they are working as a Senior Test Automation Engineer at Chorus NZ Limited, starting in October 2021.
From 1994 to 1997, June Lin attended Wellington Polytechnic School of Design. During this time, they completed an Advanced Diploma of Visual Communication Design with a major in Multimedia Interactivity. June'sfield of study was Multimedia.
