Sharon Rivera

Sharon Rivera has extensive work experience in the field of software testing and quality assurance. Sharon is currently working as a Contract Quality Assurance Lead at Chorus NZ Limited, where their responsibilities include conducting test activities for new features using various testing tools and platforms. Prior to this role, Sharon worked as a Contract Senior Test Analyst at 2degrees, where they were in charge of testing a project management and accounting module using Microsoft Dynamics software.

Before that, Sharon held the position of a Contract Senior Test Analyst at Chorus NZ Limited, where they were involved in the Assure Service Company Integration (ASCI) project and performed test activities for the Pay and Maintain streams using SAP and eMaint systems.

Sharon also has experience working as a Contract Test Lead and Contract Senior Test Analyst at Auckland Council, as well as Lead Test Analyst and Senior Test Analyst at Qual IT. Sharon has also worked as a Test Analyst at Singapore Exchange, QA Engineer at Global Blue, and Software Engineer - Quality at PayPal.

Throughout their career, Sharon has gained expertise in various testing methodologies and tools, such as qTest, Jira, Azure Devops, and HP Service Manage (HPSM). Sharon has also exhibited strong project management and communication skills, as they have collaborated with business and end users to facilitate the success of testing initiatives. Sharon Rivera completed their Bachelor of Science in Information Technology at Saint Louis University (PH) from 1997 to 2001, with a major in Information Technology. In addition, they obtained the certification of Certified Tester Foundation Level from ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board in June 2015.
