James Wang

James Wang has accumulated a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. James began their career as a Commodities Trading Analyst at Trafigura in 2013 before moving on to thyssenkrupp Materials NA, where they worked in Refined Metals Trading & Logistics from 2014 to 2017. Following this, they joined ofo as a Senior Launcher, where they led expansion and launches in multiple cities while managing and training a local team. In 2019, James worked as an MBA Intern at Energize Ventures and as a Business Manager Intern at Citadel Securities. James then joined Huobi Global as a Strategy and Business Development Manager, where they remained until 2020. Most recently, James has been employed at Chowbus, first as a General Manager and currently as the Head of Operations.

James Wang completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business from 2018 to 2020. James'sfocus of study during their MBA included Strategic Management, Business Analytics, and Entrepreneurship. Prior to that, James obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree from NYU Stern School of Business, specializing in Finance and Statistics with a minor in Psychology. James attended NYU Stern from 2009 to 2013. James' high school education was completed at Hwa Chong Institution from 2003 to 2008. Unfortunately, no field of study is specified for their high school degree. In addition to their formal education, James holds certifications such as the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) from the CAIA Association and has also passed Level II of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) exam conducted by the CFA Institute.
