Gildas Durel

Gildas Durel is a seasoned engineering manager with extensive experience in mobile application development, currently serving as Sr. Engineering Manager at ChowNow since July 2014. In this role, Gildas leads the mobile and frontend teams to enhance white label ordering, the ChowNow marketplace, and restaurant-facing applications. Gildas has successfully launched a complete rebuild of ChowNow’s iOS and Android applications and significantly improved the iOS restaurant application by transitioning it from Objective-C to Swift. Prior to ChowNow, Gildas worked as a freelance iOS engineer, developing applications for various clients, and held positions at dagobert and MyStudioFactory, focusing on building and releasing iOS applications. Gildas holds a degree in Ingénieur informatique industriel from Polytech Paris.
