Caroline Dumas

Caroline Dumas has diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Caroline currently holds positions as a Board Member at Wellington Rowing Club and as a Partnership Director at the Department of Internal Affairs (NZ). Previously, they worked as a Programme Lead at Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency and as a Spatial Plan Manager and Senior Project Manager at Queenstown Lakes District Council. Caroline also served as a Project Manager at Queenstown Airport Corporation Ltd, Operations Manager at Alpine Helicopters Ltd, and Risk Management Consultant at Schlumberger. Caroline had managerial roles at Control Risks, including Operations Manager and Deputy Project Manager. Beginning their career, Caroline served as a Commissioned Officer in the British Army.

Caroline earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Otago from 2018 to 2020.

Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences from the University of Plymouth from 2000 to 2003.

Earlier in their education, they attended Cheltenham College from 1997 to 1999.

Additionally, Caroline has obtained several certifications, including a High Performance Teams Masterclass with Marcus Buckingham from WOBI in 2021, a Managing Benefits Practitioner certification from APMG International in 2020, and PRINCE2® Foundation Certification Training from the Office of Government Commerce in 2018.
