Sarah Herzog

Sarah Herzog currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer and Associate Vice President at Christopher Newport University since March 2021, having previously held the position of Director of Planning & Budget. Prior to this role, Sarah Herzog was with the Senate of Virginia's Finance Committee from October 2002 to March 2021, where responsibilities included serving as Deputy Director and Legislative Fiscal Analyst. Earlier experience includes working as an Education Finance Specialist at the Virginia Department of Education and as an Associate at Standard & Poor's. Additionally, Sarah Herzog worked as a Budget/Fiscal Analyst for The Maryland General Assembly. Sarah Herzog holds a Master’s Degree in Public Policy and a Bachelor’s Degree in Government, both from William & Mary.
