Zachary Zander

Zachary Zander, PhD has a strong background in research and development in the field of chemistry. Zachary started their career as a Quality Control Intern at Nature's Way - Schwabe North America in 2011. In 2012, they worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at St. Norbert College and was also an REU Student at The University of Southern Mississippi. Zachary then joined The University of Akron in 2013 as a Graduate Assistant and completed their PhD while working there. After that, they joined Avient Corporation in 2018 as part of the Technology Leadership Development Program before being promoted to the role of Sr. R&D Engineer. Zachary later became a Lead R&D Chemist at Avient Corporation before transitioning to their current role as a Lead R&D Scientist at Chroma Color Corporation in 2024.

Zachary Zander, PhD, completed their education at The University of Akron where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Polymer Science from 2013 to 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from St. Norbert College from 2009 to 2013. Additionally, they have pursued certifications in leadership development, including "The Successful Young Leader," "Leadership Foundations," and "Leading Change" through LinkedIn.
