Olga Boltach

Olga Boltach is currently a QA Lead at Chronicled. Prior to this, they worked as a QA Engineer at Netpulse for three years. At Netpulse, Olga was responsible for managing the configuration and publishing of 400+ mobile applications. This included configuring the mobile app backend via running SQL scripts and configuring apps to be integrated with various third party partners and member/authentication management systems.

Olga was also responsible for implementing a framework for automation testing using Selenium 2 (WebDriver/Java) with Junit4, Ant, GitHub and Jenkins. Olga wrote scripts from scratch to automate release acceptance and regression sets of test cases. Olga collaborated with the QA team, Development SCRUM team, and other teams to develop effective automation solutions, troubleshoot issues, and resolve bugs. As Lead, they managed a team of 8 offshore and onsite QA Engineers conducting manual testing for front/back end, batch jobs, and automation testing of web and mobile applications.

In addition to their work with mobile applications, Olga also debugged and troubleshot production environment issues with log tools (Kibana, RightScale) and API tests. Olga was often able to solve escalated issues in production by either solving them on the spot or triaging them through Agile processes. Olga also managed and oversaw all QA environments and coordinated release schedules (GitHub – Jenkins).

Olga has experience with Salesforce tracking system - Force.com platform and salesforce marketing Cloud – Exact Target. Olga is also familiar with cloud servers – Amazon AWS tools and services (SNS, AWS). Olga is skilled in analyzing software defects and participated in weekly bug triage meetings with development and product management. Olga executed API (Postman, Advanced Rest Client), functional, regression, acceptance, etc. testing to ensure all development deliverables were production ready. Additionally, Olga built mobile applications (manually with Jenkins and/or using proprietary tool appCrusher), prepared them for submission, and submitted them to App Store and Google Play. Olga also managed any backend updates with existing apps.

Lastly, Olga conducted Netpulse sites creation (using MySQL Workbench) and troubleshot various support issues.

Olga Boltach has a MS in Journalism from Belorussian State University and a BS in Education from Mogilev State University, Belarus. Olga also has a degree in Software Quality Assurance from Audit Bussiness College, Minsk, Belarus.

Yulia Alekseeva - QA Analyst, Liliia Sergieieva - Junior QA Specialist report to Olga Boltach. They work with Lai Sterns - Senior Product Designer, Will Harrison - Product Manager, and Ravikumar Venkatesan - Engineering Director, QA. Their manager is Maurizio Greco, CTO & Co-Founder.
