Garret Grundeis has worked in the software engineering field since 2015. In that year, they began as a Software Engineering Intern at Grand Canyon University, where they were responsible for VC, build management, and CICD pipeline for the university's tier 1 application. Garret also used Java SE/EE, Maven, and Node. In addition, they held the role of Student Worker III, where they developed a user management and scheduling application for the department, using advanced mathematics to improve scheduling and calculation efficiency. Garret also held the role of Student Worker I, where they improved SLA and ticket creation during outages by more than 100% by implementing a self-ticketing outage notification. This system has handled over 6,000 tickets since its introduction. In 2018, they began a role as a Developer at Grand Canyon Education, Inc. and most recently, they have been a Senior Software Engineer at Chronograph since 2022.
