Andrew Laughlin

Andrew Laughlin has extensive experience in the electrical utility sector, currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Chugach Electric Association since January 2011, where previous roles included Vice President of Engineering and Senior Manager of Transmission and Substation Engineering. Responsibilities have focused on the design and construction of electrical utility substations and transmission lines. Prior to this, Andrew held the position of Project Manager for the 176th Wing BRAC program, overseeing the construction of new facilities. Andrew began a career in project engineering and supervision with MWH Global, managing various government infrastructure projects in Alaska. Education includes a Bachelor's of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alaska Anchorage and a Bachelor's of Science in Electrical Engineering with an emphasis in Power and Controls from the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
