Jien Nee Tai

Jien Nee Tai is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in antibody production and biopharmaceutical research. Currently serving as Scientist II at Chugai Pharmabody Research since August 2018, Jien has developed high throughput automated transfection and purification processes, characterized antibodies using various analytical techniques, and implemented efficiency improvements through automation. Previous roles include Research Associate in the Protein Production unit, where Jien focused on transient expression and purification of proteins, and analytical internships that featured investigations into glycoproteins and quality control processes. Jien holds dual Master of Science degrees in Industrial Chemistry from the National University of Singapore and Technical University of Munich, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Purdue University. Leadership experience includes serving as President of the Purdue Singapore Students' Association and engagement in various research initiatives.
