Kelvin Yong

Kelvin Yong is a Senior Scientist at Chugai Pharmabody Research since January 2021, focusing on the development and improvement of biological assays to evaluate the pharmacokinetics and immunogenicity of proprietary antibodies. Previously, Kelvin served as a Method Validation Scientist at Prestige BioPharma Pte Ltd from June 2019 to January 2021, where responsibilities included the development and validation of biological assays in compliance with Good Laboratory Practice for regulatory submissions. Prior experience includes working as a Scientist at ACM Biolabs, leading projects on influenza vaccine development and antibody discovery, and serving as a Demonstrator at the University of Melbourne, where molecular biology and cell biology techniques were taught to undergraduate students. Kelvin Yong holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and a Bachelor’s Degree in the same field from the University of Melbourne, as well as a Diploma in Biotechnology from Ngee Ann Polytechnic.
