Denver B. Dewees

Denver B. DeWees, CUSP, serves as the Electric Utility Director for the City of Aztec, New Mexico since December 2021 and has been the Executive Associate Pastor at Aztec Church of the Nazarene since June 2016. Previous roles include Safety Director, Engineering Projects Manager, and Substation Maintenance and Reliability lead at Farmington Electric Utility from May 2016 to December 2021, where responsibilities encompassed establishing a preventative maintenance program for substations. Earlier experience at Enterprise Products included positions as Maintenance/EMOP Superintendent and Maintenance Supervisor, and at BHP Billiton as Lead Journeyman Lineman/Electrician and Relief Maintenance Planner. Denver B. DeWees holds multiple degrees, including a degree in Instrumentation, Controls & Electrical Engineering from San Juan College and an MPP in Theology/Theological Studies from Nazarene Bible College.
