Makenzie Flores

Makenzie Flores, MSW, LSW, is a dedicated professional in the field of social work and mental health. Currently serving as a Medical Social Worker at Riverside Healthcare and co-owner of Liberating Leadership LLC, Makenzie has also been an Adjunct Professor at Aurora University since August 2022. With a strong background in crisis counseling, Makenzie volunteers as a Police Chaplain for Nationwide Emergency Response Chaplain Services and has served as Co Pastor at Church of the Nazarene since March 2017. Previous roles include Hospital Based Intervention Field Director at Kankakee Forgives, Area Coordinator and Case Supervisor at Safe Families for Children, and Mental Health Therapist at Clove Alliance. Makenzie holds a Master's degree in Advanced Clinical Social Work from Aurora University and a Bachelor's degree in Divinity/Ministry from MidAmerica Nazarene University.
