Reuben Lillie is a Principal Artist at the Opera Festival of Chicago, involved in performances such as Pizzetti's "ASSASSINIO NELLA CATEDRALE" and Verdi's "ATTILA." Reuben has an extensive background in ministry, serving as an Ordained Elder and founder of The Loop Church of the Nazarene and Compassionate Ministries, which focuses on aiding those suffering from various forms of oppression. In academia, Reuben has been an Adjunct Professor at Olivet Nazarene University since 2016, teaching in both the School of Music and the School of Theology and Christian Ministry. With previous roles including Urban Missionary and various soloist positions in opera, Reuben's diverse experiences intertwine a passion for music, ministry, and social justice. Reuben holds a Master of Divinity from McCormick Theological Seminary and has earned degrees in Music Performance from Roosevelt University and Olivet Nazarene University.
