Phil Forbis

Phil Forbis, CPA, has a diverse work experience in the financial field. Phil began their career at UBS as a Wealth Management Intern with the John Cunningham Financial Group in 2012. Following this, Phil joined PwC in 2013 as an Assurance Intern and later became an Assurance Associate in 2014. Phil then moved on to the role of Senior Assurance Associate at PwC. In 2017, Phil transitioned to Churchill Downs Incorporated as a Senior Financial Analyst in Financial Planning and Analysis. Phil steadily climbed the ranks and held positions such as Director, Senior Director, and Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis and Treasury. Phil also served as the Vice President of Finance, Corporate FP&A at Churchill Downs Incorporated.

Phil Forbis, CPA, received their education from Bellarmine University from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Accounting and Finance. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at New Albany High School from 2005 to 2009, where they earned an Academic Honors Diploma. Additionally, Phil Forbis is a Certified Public Accountant, certified by the Kentucky State Board of Accountancy in 2015.
