Richard Vincent

Richard Vincent has extensive work experience in the field of cybersecurity operations and systems security analysis. Richard started their career as a Deskside Support Technician at Pomeroy in 2001 and then worked for Baptist Health Louisville as an IS Support Services - Intermediate from 2003 to 2009. Richard then joined Norton Healthcare as a Security, Risk, and Compliance Specialist from 2009 to 2015. Richard then worked at Kindred Healthcare as a Systems Security Analyst from 2015 to 2020. Currently, Richard is the Director of Cybersecurity Operations at Churchill Downs Incorporated, a position they have held since 2020.

Richard Vincent holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Information Technology from Sullivan University, completed between 2002 and 2004. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from ITT Technical USA Jobs, completed from 2000 to 2002. Richard also holds a Master Certificate in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from Villanova University. In addition to their academic achievements, Richard has obtained several certifications, including GIAC Reverse Engineering Malware (GREM) from Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC).
