John Kiptum Juma has worked in various positions since 2006. John Kiptum began their career as a Systems Engineer at SevenSeas Technologies in 2006. In 2007, they became the Head of O&T Risk and Audit at Citi, and then the Head of IT Risk and Information Security for Kenya. In 2015, they joined NetGuardians as the Head of Operational Risk and Internal Control for Africa. In 2019, they became the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) at Zenka Finance Kenya and the Co-Founder and CEO of Malakoff Analytics Consulting. In 2020, they joined Antler as an Entrepreneur and in 2021, they became the Co-Founder and CEO of Churpy.

John Kiptum Juma completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from the University of Leicester in 2017. From 2003 to 2006, they obtained a Bachelor of Business and Information Technology from Strathmore University. John Kiptum also engaged in self-study.
