Alyssa F.

Alyssa F. has over 10 years of experience in the media industry. Alyssa started their career as a Freelancer, where they handled various pre- and post-production tasks for different media organizations. This included setting up sets, checking signals, capturing media, organizing feeds, and providing technical support. In 2008, they worked as an Assistant Post Coordinator at NextFilm.

Alyssa then joined Bell Media in 2009 as a VTR Operator/Media Ingest, where they were responsible for ingesting and monitoring feeds, transcoding media, managing file-based workflows, and ensuring quality control. Alyssa also played a role in managing recordings and playback for live and taped productions.

From 2016 to 2019, Alyssa worked as an MCR Broadcast Technician at Ruptly, where they conducted technical conformity checks, improved technical quality using post-production tools, and operated the master control room for playout, ingest, signal routing, live broadcasts, and studio production.

Currently, Alyssa is a Broadcast Integration Engineer at Chyron, where they bridge the gap between the product and the clients. Their responsibilities include setting up databases, designing customized workflows, building specialized templates for graphics and automation, testing and providing feedback on the product, and supporting system changes.

Throughout their career, Alyssa has demonstrated a strong technical understanding of media production and has excelled in integrating technology into broadcasting operations.

Alyssa F. attended Fanshawe College from 2005 to 2007, where they studied Television Broadcasting with a focus on Radio and Television. Alyssa then pursued further education at Fanshawe College from 2007 to 2008, obtaining a degree in Digital Post Production, specializing in Radio and Television.
