Laura Sanchez Abella

Laura Sanchez Abella is a Senior Researcher and Head of Strategic Research Line at CIDETEC. With a background in organic chemistry, Laura has extensive experience in biomaterials for medical devices, project management, and working with multidisciplinary teams. Prior to their current role, Laura worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Research Chemist, gaining expertise in glycochemistry, nanomaterials, and custom synthesis. Throughout their career, Laura has been involved in various public and private R&D projects focusing on materials development. Laura holds a Doctorate in Organic Chemistry from Universidad de Oviedo.
