Patrick Tuxbury

Senior Mechanical Engineer at CiDRA

Patrick Tuxbury has a diverse work experience in mechanical engineering. Patrick started their career at Sanders, A Lockheed Martin Company, where they provided application support, taught Pro/ENGINEER classes, and served as Pro/PDM administrator. Patrick then moved on to TransAct Technologies, where they designed plastic housings and components for point-of-sale and gaming printers. At HTS Biosystems, Tuxbury was a key member of a team that designed and built the Flex Chip Kinetic Analysis System, focusing on mechanical subsystems and the vacuum formed plastic outer enclosure. Patrick gained practical experience in FDA Quality Systems and design controls during their time at Philips Medical, where they also acted as a project manager for a filter design project. Lastly, at CiDRA, Tuxbury led the design and construction of a pilot plant for the CiDRA Advanced Mineral Recovery System, including various custom components and control systems.

Patrick Tuxbury earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo, where they studied from 1990 to 1995.
