Philipp Kley

Philipp Kley has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the chemical industry. Philipp is currently the Managing Director for BU Salt & CIECH Salt Deutschland at CIECH Group. Prior to this, they were the Owner and Senior Advisor at KleyConsult. From 2020 to 2021, they served as the President of Europe at MBCC Group, leading a €900 million business with 2800 employees. Philipp also held positions at BASF, including Senior Vice President - BU Head Construction Chemicals Europe, Vice President Strategy & Controlling Construction Chemicals Division, and Director Planning & Controlling Polyurethanes. Philipp also has experience as the Senior Regional Manager Superabsorbents Asia and in various roles in strategy and product management. Additionally, they served as the President of EFCC (European Federation of Construction Chemicals) from 2016 to 2021. Philipp Kley has a diverse education history. Philipp completed a Diplom in Kaufmann at Kiel University, with a focus on business. Philipp then pursued a Diplom in Volkswirtschaft, also at Kiel University, emphasizing economics. Additionally, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Heidelberg University. Philipp has furthered their education with a Post Graduate Diploma Course in Digital Business from Emeritus, in collaboration with Columbia Business School. Philipp has also obtained certifications, including one as a SAP Certified Application Consultant and a Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Business.
