Rick Koenig

Rick Koenig has extensive experience in sales and engineering within the telecommunications industry, currently serving as Vice President of Sales for Major Accounts at Ciena since June 2006. Prior to this role, Rick held various positions at Cisco, including Account Manager from October 1999 to June 2006 and Senior Sales Engineer at Monterey Networks for a brief period. Rick began a career as a Sales Engineer at Nortel Networks and previously worked as an Engineer at Boart Longyear. Rick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, earned between 1990 and 1995.
