Rom Vincent Chan

Rom Vincent Chan is an accomplished telecommunications professional with extensive experience in optical networks and support roles. Currently serving as an Associate Global Support at Ciena since January 2022, Rom specializes in Tier 4 support for optical products, providing troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and guidance for local and global customers. Prior experience includes working as a Data Communications Engineer at Huawei, where Rom was involved in the design, commissioning, and maintenance of DWDM products, and leading projects related to optical transmission. Additionally, Rom worked as an Associate Software Engineer at Accenture, completing multiple boot camps in technology and software applications. Rom holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Mapúa University.
