Adeel Naeem

Adeel Naeem has a diverse and extensive work experience. Adeel started their career as a Finance Assistant at Cigna Healthcare in September 2003, where they worked until September 2004. Adeel then joined SCOTTISH POWER (IBERDROLA Renovables) as a Sales Ledger Clerk and Credit Controller from November 2002 to January 2003. Adeel subsequently worked at Coats as a Purchase Ledger Clerk from February 2003 to September 2003. Returning to Cigna Healthcare, they held various roles including Reconciliation Accountant from October 2004 to July 2006, Financial Accountant from August 2006 to July 2009, Senior Project Accountant from August 2009 to October 2013, Financial Analysis Lead from November 2013 to June 2017, and MENA Finance Lead from July 2017 to August 2022. Currently, Adeel holds the position of BFO Middle East & Africa / CFO Cigna Insurance Middle East SAL - UAE at Cigna Healthcare. Adeel has demonstrated their expertise in finance, reconciliation, accounting, and leadership throughout their career.

Adeel Naeem completed their education by obtaining various degrees in the field of accounting. From 1998 to 2001, they attended the Central College of Commerce where they earned an HND degree. Following this, they pursued further education at the University of Paisley from 2001 to 2002, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in accounting. Finally, from 2003 to 2006, Adeel attended Kaplan Financial and completed the ACCA degree in accounting.
