Amit Shankar

Amit Shankar is an experienced leader in healthcare business strategy, currently serving as the Head of US Commercial Business Strategy and Medical Solutions Strategy at Cigna Healthcare since May 2015. In this role, Amit drives the development of business strategies for the Employer Business and innovation of Core Medical products. Previously, Amit held several key positions at Cigna, including Senior Director of Enterprise Strategy, where responsibilities included the development of the US Commercial strategy and leading enterprise-wide initiatives. Amit's extensive background also includes leadership roles at Cognizant and Infosys, focusing on healthcare IT programs and strategic operations. Amit holds an MBA in Finance and Strategy from NYU Stern School of Business and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Visvesvaraya Technological University.
