Kate Hamer

Kate Hamer is an experienced Events and Communications Manager at Cigna Healthcare, where since July 2013, leadership of a team focused on enhancing internal and broker events and communications for Cigna Medicare has been a key responsibility. Prior roles at Cigna include Sales Operations Advisor, where oversight of channel communications and event strategies was critical, and External Communications Advisor, managing campaign launches and media relations. Additionally, experiences as Internal Communication Advisor and Global Brand Specialist have refined Kate Hamer’s expertise in strategic communications and branding initiatives. Prior to Cigna, roles at Boston Children's Hospital and other organizations included project management and public relations. Kate Hamer holds an MBA in Marketing from the University of Hartford and a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and Spanish from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
