Shankar Madhavan

Shankar Madhavan has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry, holding various senior leadership positions. Shankar currently serves as the Vice President of Health and Value at Cigna since 2022. Previously, they worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan for nine years, where they held roles such as Vice President of Innovation, Senior Director of Enterprise Strategy and Planning, and Vice President of Product and Planning in the Emerging Markets Payer Services Division. Prior to that, Shankar worked as a Consultant at The Cambridge Group and as a Senior Manager and Engineer at Sirius Satellite Radio.

Shankar Madhavan completed their Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Michigan State University in 2003. Shankar then pursued their MBA in Strategy, Finance, and Operations from the University of Chicago, graduating in 2011.
