Rannveig Loken

Rannveig Loken serves as the Chair of the CIGRE Technical Council and heads the National Committee of Norway in CIGRE, alongside holding the position of Chair for SC B5 – Protection and Automation. Since May 2005, Rannveig has been a vital part of Statnett SF, initially as the Head of Team Protection and later acting as the Head of the Innovation and Technology Department while also working as a Senior Specialist in protection and control systems. Between August 2012 and August 2018, Rannveig held the role of Secretary for SC B5. Rannveig holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, obtained between 1990 and 1992.
