Awais Mughal has a diverse work experience that spans multiple positions and companies. Awais is currently working as a Principal Software Engineer at Ciklum, a position they started in April 2023. Before that, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Ciklum from April 2021 to May 2023.

Prior to their time at Ciklum, Awais worked as a Senior PHP Developer at Zam Software Solutions from March 2020 to March 2021, where they were responsible for the development and maintenance of marketing web applications.

Before that, they served as a Senior PHP Developer at getRanked Malaysia from April 2018 to March 2020, managing online payment systems and providing support for existing features.

Awais also has experience working as a Software Developer at UNDP from May 2017 to March 2018, where they utilized various tools and technologies such as PHP, CodeIgniter, Laravel, and APIs.

Additionally, they worked as a PHP Developer at Nifty Sphere from May 2016 to May 2017, focusing on tools and technologies similar to their role at UNDP.

Awais began their career as a Student at Air University from September 2012 to May 2016 and also worked as a Brand Ambassador at British Council from June 2014 to February 2016.

Awais has also held positions as a Database Developer & Software Engineer at HEC Islamabad, Pakistan, and served as Logistics Head at Air University Literary Society and Air University Bits & Bytes.

Awais Mughal earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Data Science from the Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology from 2018 to 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Air University, where they studied from 2012 to 2016. Awais completed their Matriculation in Science from I.M.C.B G-10/4 Islamabad from 2001 to 2010. Additionally, they obtained several certifications including Problem Solving (Basic) from HackerRank in 2022, and Beginning Project Management, Object Oriented PHP & MVC, and PHP: The Complete PHP MVC from Udemy in 2021.
