Benjamin Forestier has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Starting in 2007, they worked as an Engineering student at Fraunhofer ILT. In 2008, they continued at Fraunhofer ILT as a Master's student before transitioning to a PhD student at Laboratoire d'Optique Appliquée UMR7639 CNRS, ENSTA, Ecole Polytechnique Paristech in the same year. Benjamin then conducted research as a Researcher on contract at Laboratoire d'Optique Appliquée, CNRS / ENSTA / Ecole Polytechnique in 2011. Benjamin also gained experience in the corporate finance field, serving as an Innovation & Strategy Developer at CILAS from 2013 to the present. Benjamin simultaneously held a role as a Laser Development professional in the Engineering and Production Division at CILAS from 2013 to 2018. Benjamin entered the education sector in 2017, working as a Guest Lecturer at HEC Paris, ESSEC Business School, and Ecole Polytechnique. Benjamin also served as a Professional Trainer & Coach at First Finance from 2017 to the present. Benjamin pursued their interest in finance further by becoming a Cofounding Partner at Eval XP, a consulting firm specializing in corporate finance, in 2020. Benjamin currently holds the position of Affiliate Professor at École Polytechnique, where they teach private equity, investment banking, and corporate finance.

Benjamin Forestier's education history begins with their undergraduate studies at Grenoble INP - UGA, where they earned an Engineer's degree in Micro and nanoelectronic devices from 2005 to 2008. Benjamin then continued their education at Grenoble INP - UGA, obtaining a Master's degree in Optoelectronic and Radio Frequency devices from 2007 to 2008.

Afterward, Benjamin pursued their doctoral studies at École Polytechnique from 2008 to 2011, earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the field of High power ultrafast laser for military and industrial applications.

In 2015, Benjamin obtained an International Certification in Corporate Finance from First Finance/HEC. The following year, they attended HEC Paris, where they completed an Executive Master's Degree in Financial Management from 2016 to 2017.

In addition to their formal education, Benjamin also obtained several certifications. In 2014, they completed courses such as "An Introduction to Operations Management" from Wharton Business School, "Advanced Competitive Strategy" from LMU, "Organizational Analysis" from Stanford University, and "Evaluation financière de l'entreprise" from HEC Paris. In 2013, they obtained a certification in "An Introduction to Marketing" from Wharton Business School. Lastly, in 2014, they completed courses in "Developing Innovative Ideas for New Companies" from the University of Maryland and "Innovation and Commercialization" from MIT.
