Alex Shan

Alex Shan has a diverse work experience. In 2016, they began their career as a Graduate Mechanical Engineer at Cundall, where they worked until June 2017. Alex then took on the role of Mechanical Engineer - Project Manager at Cundall from July 2017 to October 2020. In October 2020, they joined CIM as a Project Engineer - Customer Success and worked there until November 2021. In November 2021, they returned to Cundall as a Senior Mechanical Engineer - Project Manager and remained in that position until July 2022. In July 2022, they transitioned to their current role as a Product Growth Hacker at CIM.

Alex Shan completed a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bristol from 2012 to 2016. During the academic year 2014 to 2015, Alex spent a year abroad at the University of Sydney, continuing their studies in Mechanical Engineering. In 2013, they also completed a Summer Chinese Language SCI Program at Fudan University, focusing on Chinese Language and Literature. Prior to university, Alex attended Colegio Legamar from 2006 to 2012, where they completed their Bachillerato (Spanish Baccalaureate) with a focus on Physical Sciences.

In addition to their formal education, Alex Shan has obtained several certifications. In September 2021, they received certifications in Advanced Control Strategies from Lifecycle Controls and as a Chartered Engineer (MCIBSE) from the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) ANZ Region. In August 2021, Alex completed the SQL Masterclass: SQL for Data Analytics course from Udemy.
