Howie Mann has a diverse work experience background. Howie started their career as a Corporate Development Intern at The American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai in 2008. Howie then worked as a Finance Faculty Tutor for Bank Financial Management & Trading and Dealing in Securities at Unive in the same year. In 2008, they also had an internship as a Global Markets Intern at Deutsche Bank.
In 2009, Howie joined Commonwealth Bank as a Director Equity Capital Markets, Institutional Bank. In this role, they specialized in equity capital markets for ASX300 companies, focusing on IPOs, follow-on raisings, acquisition financing, and capital management. Howie stayed with Commonwealth Bank until 2014.
From 2015 to 2016, Howie worked at Macquarie Group in Investment Banking, specifically in TMET.
In 2017, Howie joined SafetyCulture as a Software Engineer, working in this position until 2018. Then, they transitioned into the role of Head of Customer Acquisition until 2019.
Currently, Howie Mann is employed at CIM, where they started in 2019. Howie initially served as VP Operations until 2020 when they were promoted to Head of Product.
Howie Mann completed the Company Directors Course as a Graduate Member at the Australian Institute of Company Directors in the year 2020. Prior to that, they attended the University of Sydney from 2006 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (Liberal Studies) with a focus on Finance and Economics. In 2016, Howie attended General Assembly, where they completed a Web Development Immersive program in Full stack web development. Furthermore, Howie Mann achieved the Year 12 Dux at Randwick Boys High School, although the specific dates of their attendance were not provided. Howie also obtained the GAICD certification from the Australian Institute of Company Directors in July 2020.
