Valerie Houbert

Valerie Houbert is an experienced compliance professional with a robust background in financial institutions. Currently serving as Head of Compliance at Cim Finance Ltd since July 2018, Valerie previously held the position of Head of Compliance - Directrice Conformite et Controles Permanents at Banque des Mascareignes from June 2016 to June 2018. Prior to that, Valerie worked at Standard Chartered Bank from October 2006 to June 2016, initially as Head of Wholesale Banking Legal and later as Head of Legal and Compliance. Valerie holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in Comparative Law, International Business, Trade, and Commerce from Université Paul Cézanne (Aix-Marseille III), which was completed between 2004 and 2005.
