David Blackford has extensive experience in investment and banking. David started their career at Lazard Asset Management as an Analyst in 1995 and worked until 1999. David then joined Citi as a Director of Investment Banking in 2001 and stayed until 2008. From 2008 to 2013, they worked at Macquarie Group as a Managing Director. Currently, they are employed by CIM Group as a Managing Director of Investments since September 2013.
David Blackford holds an MBA degree from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, which they obtained from 1999 to 2001. Their focus of study during the MBA program included Finance, Economics, and Accounting. Prior to this, they completed their undergraduate studies at Lehigh University College of Business from 1991 to 1995, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, with a general focus on the subject.
