Mario Gignac

Mario Gignac is a seasoned professional in structural engineering with extensive experience spanning over three decades. Currently serving as a Senior Expert Advisor in Energy and Resources at CIMA+ since September 2022, Mario has held various leadership roles including Civil and Structural Department Manager and Senior Structural Engineer at BBA from 2008 to 2022, where responsibilities included major project leadership and project management. Previous positions include Department Manager at BPR-Bechtel and the Structural Department Manager at DEVONYX, along with significant roles as a Structural Engineer at multiple firms including GENIVAR and MESAR. Mario holds a Baccalaureat in Civil Engineering from Université de Sherbrooke, earned between 1984 and 1988.
