Kathir Kumar

Kathir Kumar is a Senior Quality Assurance Quality Control Engineer at Jurong Engineering Limited, with extensive experience in high-pressure piping and heavy equipment within the coal-fired power plant sector since September 2021. Previously served as Chief QA/QC Engineer at the same company, focusing on high-pressure steam piping and equipment installation for combined cycle and coal-fired projects. Prior to this, held the position of Quality Engineer at Eversendai Corporation Berhad, specializing in the installation of heavy equipment, and worked as a QA/QC Engineer at EDAC Engineering Ltd. on steam generator construction. Kathir Kumar began a career as an Engineering Trainee, acquiring knowledge of Indian standards and welding processes. Holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from college, completed in 2010.
