Sonja Haavisto

Sonja Haavisto has diverse work experience in communications, marketing, and journalism. Since February 2022, they have served as the Head of Group Communications at Cimcorp Group, where they previously worked as a Communications Manager from January 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Marketing Communications Coordinator at LähiTapiola from November 2016 to December 2019. Sonja has also worked as a Social Media Consultant at Howtomo in March 2018, an Assistant Brand Manager at The city of Pori in April 2017, and a Freelance Translator at Lionbridge from August 2016 to December 2016. Additionally, Sonja has experience as a Communications Consultant at Motivire in August 2016, a Freelance Journalist at The Pocket from September 2015 to May 2016, a Community Manager at Abbas Kebab from September 2015 to May 2016, a Journalist & Community Manager at Ruta B from March 2015 to May 2016, and a Community Manager at Kill Cliff Inc. from November 2015 to March 2016.

Sonja Haavisto has a Master of Arts degree in Arts, Entertainment, and Media Management from Turku University of Applied Sciences, which they obtained from 2019 to 2020. Sonja also has a degree in Communication and Media with a focus on Culture from the same university, earned between 2010 and 2013. In addition, Sonja completed a Community Manager program at Brother Ad School Santiago in 2015. Sonja has a Journalism degree from Universidad Mayor in 2013 and attended Alkio-institute in 2009 for Communication and Media Studies. Lastly, they studied Visual Arts at Porin Taidekoulu from 1997 to 2003. Sonja has also obtained a certification in "Vegaaninen ruokavalio ja ravitsemus -verkkoluento" from Eliademy.
