Sophie Lackner

Sophie Lackner is a qualified research associate specializing in molecular biology and gene editing at Cimeio Therapeutics since August 2022. Prior experience includes working at Johannes Kepler Universität Linz from October 2020 to May 2022 as a staff member in the Next Generation Sequencing and Molecular Biology Core Facility and as a project collaborator on a large-scale study of SARS CoV-2 infections in Austrian schools. Sophie also completed a master's thesis at the same university from September 2019 to July 2020 and interned at the Children's Cancer Research Institute in 2017. Sophie holds a Master of Science degree in Technical Physician from Hochschule Furtwangen and a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology from IMC Krems University of Applied Sciences.
