Hana Kim earned a BA in Psychology from New York University in 1997 before completing a BA in Psychology and Women's Studies at Stony Brook University from 1997 to 2000. Subsequently, they pursued a JD degree in Law from Brooklyn Law School, graduating in 2009. In 2007, they also participated in a study abroad program at St. Catherine's College.
