James Denton

Lead Analyst - Bioinformatics at Cincinnati Children's

James Denton has a strong background in bioinformatics and genomics analysis. James started their career as a Research Assistant at Indiana University, working on genome analysis projects. James then moved on to become an Associate Instructor in Programming at the university. Following this, James worked as a Research Programmer at the Computational Genomics Laboratory at Indiana University. James later joined Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center as a Sr. Analyst and eventually became the Lead Analyst in Bioinformatics, where they played a key role in developing integrated, custom-built applications and pipelines for genomics analysis.

James Denton has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Physical and Biological Anthropology, which they obtained from Indiana University Bloomington in 2009. James later graduated with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Informatics from the same university in 2011. Mr. Denton then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Bioinformatics, which they completed in 2013 at Indiana University Bloomington.
