Amy Thompson is a seasoned professional in zoology and animal care, currently serving as the Zoological Manager of Carnivores at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden since October 2019. Prior to this role, Amy worked as a Research Associate/Manager at the Lindner Center for Conservation and Research of Endangered Wildlife. Experience also includes positions at Kelly Services as Operations Manager for Preclinical Research and various roles at KellyOCG, including Veterinary Services Team Lead and Vivarium Supervisor. Earlier experience at the Cincinnati Zoo includes a tenure as Senior Animal Keeper in the Nocturnal House. Academically, Amy holds a Master of Arts in Zoology from Miami University, obtained in 2014, and a Bachelor of Arts in Zoology with a minor in Botany from the same institution, completed in 2001.
