Kathy Burslem

Kathy Burslem has over 30 years of work experience in finance and production accounting. Kathy started their career as a General Manager at Bird & Co, where they were responsible for full cycle accounting and successfully managed office relocation. Kathy then joined The Digital Village as a Production Accountant, where they executed full cycle accounting and set up a branch office in Toronto. Kathy also worked as a Freelance Finance Manager, rebuilding accounting systems and executing full cycle accounting for various clients. Kathy then joined C.O.R.E Feature Animation as a Production Accountant, creating and updating weekly production reports. At C.O.R.E. Digital Pictures, they became the Director of Finance & Production Accounting, responsible for maintaining accounts for the group, implementing new systems and procedures, and reconciling financial statements. Currently, Kathy serves as the Director of Production Accounting at Cineflix Media Inc., where they manage a team and allocates projects to ensure a balanced workload.

Kathy Burslem obtained a Diploma in Business and Hospitality Management from George Brown College from 1982 to 1984. In 1995, they attended Northampton College for C.I.M.A. - 1st Stage, although they did not complete a degree there. Prior to that, they studied Business Administration at St Lawrence College until 1981.
