Derek Elkins

Derek Elkins has over 15 years of experience in the entertainment and marketing industries, currently serving in a dual role as National Sales and Development and Business Development Manager at Cinelease, Inc. since November 2019. Previously, Derek held the position of Vice President of Studio Operations at Tyler Perry Studios from August 2016 to November 2019, and was the Manager of Operations and Production Services at The Celtic Media Centre from July 2009 to August 2016. Derek has successfully developed strategic partnerships, maximized studio revenues, and built long-term relationships with producers and clients, including major films and studios such as 20th Century Fox Films, Sony Pictures, and Universal Pictures. Additional experience includes roles in artist management, marketing, and production, along with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Louisiana State University.
