James Horton

James Horton is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Group Financial Controller at Cineworld Group Plc since March 2022, having previously held the position of Deputy Group Financial Controller. Prior to Cineworld, James worked at Deloitte UK from September 2012 to March 2022, advancing from Assistant Manager to Audit Manager, and then to Senior Manager in CFO Advisory, where collaboration with CFOs in various sectors, including gaming and retail, was key. James also gained experience in developing audit analytics projects and business tendering. Earlier in the career, James interned at Nedbank Private Wealth International and holds a Master of Arts degree in Business and Economics from The University of Edinburgh.
