Michael Pierfelice

Michael Pierfelice has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Michael started their career as an Information Technology intern at Kroger in 2001, where they gained foundational skills in the field.

In 2003, Pierfelice worked as an Electrical Engineer intern at TRW Automotive, focusing on the validation of small automotive electronics. Michael primarily worked on tire pressure monitoring (TPM) and remote keyless entry (RKE) systems during their three co-op terms.

Moving forward, Pierfelice joined Raytheon in 2006 as a Senior Software Engineer, contributing to large defense radar projects. Michael utilized an object-oriented approach and C++ to design and implement radar scheduling requirements, radar communications, and mission logic. Additionally, they developed simulation tools by interfacing with MATLAB and Satellite Tool Kit.

From 2012 to 2020, Pierfelice worked at Continental, assuming the role of a Senior Software Engineer. Michael specialized in developing and integrating wireless functions, specifically remote keyless entry, passive entry, and passive start systems. Michael was also responsible for performance measurements and code analysis for Chrysler/Fiat RF hub module projects.

Currently, Pierfelice is employed at Cintel, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer where they continue to contribute their expertise.

Throughout their career, Pierfelice has gained valuable experience in software engineering, electrical engineering, and information technology, showcasing their versatility and adaptability in various roles and industries.

Michael Pierfelice earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan-Dearborn, where they studied from 2001 to 2005. Following their undergraduate studies, Michael pursued a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at Northeastern University from 2007 to 2012.
