Matt Hink has over 20 years of work experience in the computer industry. They started with Quad Tech World in 1996, where they programmed, tested, troubleshot, and debugged the world's fastest offset web register guidance system using C, C++, event driven, message based, multi-proc, real-time programming. They also initiated automated testing. From 1999 - 2000, Matt Hink worked at Information Builders as a Software Engineer in the Cactus Compiler / Interpreter Backend developing backend runs on 30 different platforms. At Microsoft from 2000 - 2007, Matt Hink worked in various roles, including Software Design Engineer / Test for Exchange Hosted Services, SQL Server Storage Engine and Fulltext Search and Failover Clustering. During this time, they improved Stress Test throughput rates by up to 10X, developed SQL code generators and improved test automation. From 2007 - 2011, Matt Hink was a Software Engineer at Silicon Graphics, where they owned the entire SDLC, designed, implemented and tested simple programming APIs for controlling and automating hardware. From 2011 - 2016, Matt Hink was a Software Engineer at ValueAppeal, a startup. Then from 2012 - 2015, Matt Hink was a Principal Hardware Engineer at Nebula, working with private cloud computing and hardware / software low level infrastructure. From 2015 - 2016, Matt Hink was a Senior Technical Member of Staff at Oracle, working on control plane, backup service and workflow engine. Lastly, from 2016 - 2022, Matt Hink was a Principal Software Engineer at Vapor IO, working with cloud software / hardware and OSDP v1 and v2 implementation. In addition, Matt Hink was a Sole Proprietor of Matt Hink's Computer Services, where they owned the entire SDLC and implemented an extensive .Net IPMI client library and a Windows PowerShell provider for a subset of the IPMI commands.

Matt Hink graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and an Electrical Engineering minor in 1998.
