Mark Darlington's work experience includes several positions and roles spanning over several decades. Mark began their career at IBM in 1984 as a Systems Engineer/Marketing Representative and worked there until 1987. Mark then joined DIS Research as a Chief Technology Officer, a position they held until 2001. During this time, they also worked as a Solutions Architect. In 2001, they moved to International Integrated Solutions as a Solutions Architect, a role they held until 2004. In 2004, they joined Trilogy Solutions, LLC as the Chief Operating Officer, and later became the Chief Technology Officer from 2009 to 2013. In 2013, they joined Trilogix IT, LLC as the Chief Technology Officer and worked there until 2018. Mark then joined Cira Infotech in 2018 as the Chief Technology Officer, where they continue to work.

Mark Darlington has a strong education background in both computer science and engineering. Mark obtained a BA in Engineering from Columbia University, where they studied from 1979 to 1983. Mark then continued their education at the same university and earned a BS degree in Computer Science, completing their studies in 1984.

In addition to their academic achievements, Mark has also acquired relevant certifications to enhance their professional skills. Mark obtained the "Technical Sales Foundations for IBM Resilient Incident Response Platform Professional V1" certification from IBM in September 2020. Prior to that, they became a "VMware Certified Professional 6 - Data Center Virtualization" in January 2017 and a "VMware Certified Professional 6.5 - Data Center Virtualization" in January 2019. The obtained certifications demonstrate Mark's ongoing commitment to staying up-to-date with industry technologies and practices.
