Bart van Rompaey

Bart Van Rompaey has a diverse work experience in various roles. Bart started their career as a Researcher at the University of Antwerp, where they focused on software reengineering and collaborated with industrial partners. Bart then worked as an IT Consultant in (Enterprise) Architecture at LoQutus, where they took on assignments in recycling, insurance, FMCG packaging, and government sectors. In 2012, Bart joined DSN Artwork Prepress as an IT (Project) Manager, where they delivered integrated marketing artwork management software solutions. Currently, Bart is working at Circet Benelux, first as an IT Manager for the Service Cruiser project and now as an IT Director.

Bart Van Rompaey obtained their Licentiaat Informatica degree in Computer Science from the University of Antwerp from 2000 to 2004. Bart then pursued a Master's degree in Industrial Management at KU Leuven from 2004 to 2005. Following this, they completed a PhD in Computer Science at the University of Antwerp from 2005 to 2009.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Bart Van Rompaey obtained the Prince2 Foundation certification from APMG International in June 2011.
