Cormac Brennan

Cormac Brennan has a wealth of experience in software development. In 2008, they completed an internship as a Software Developer at Irish Life & Permanent, where they used Java, SQL and PL/SQL to work on a system to detect unusual patterns in credit card transactions. In 2009, they worked as a Software Developer at Keelings Fresh. In 2011, they took on the role of Software Developer at Abbey Capital, where they managed the technical aspects of the on boarding of several new data vendors and oversaw the migration from an in built CRM system to the Salesforce Cloud platform. In 2013, they joined Aquatic Informatics Inc. as a Software Developer, where they wrote systems to display and manage time series data using an event sourcing model and developed web APIs to allow organizations to integrate their own systems with the product. In 2020, they joined Avanade as a Software Development Manager, where they were the technical lead on a team formed to deliver a reporting solution for a client. Cormac also integrated Power BI functionality into an existing .NET application via the Power BI REST API and JS library. Finally, in 2022, they joined both Circit and Copperleaf Technologies as a Software Developer and Senior Software Developer, respectively.

Cormac Brennan obtained a Bsc in Computer Applications - Software Engineering from Dublin City University between 2005 and 2009. Cormac has since obtained four certifications from Microsoft, including an Azure Solutions Architect certification in May 2021, an Azure Developer certification in January 2021, a Data Analyst certification in August 2020, and a MCP Windows Applications Development with Microsoft .NET Framework certification.
